He used curse as telling what they would live their lives from that time forward. If there was a curse for real it was now going back to the earth from which they were formed, they did not die before they fell, thinking they could be like God was a big mistake. Only God himself knows what went on back then, we will find out later. That was a repeating theme they being they can become as God, no can do, there is just one God and no other.

Jesus said, in heaven there is not man or woman, they are equal, not need of marriage or giving in marriage. If you do not die there is no reason for replacements.
