when you factor in a divided nation, all the manufacturing cuts, all the underemployment, the failing retail sector, the threat of ww3 unfolding daily, the trade war with china, the political turmoil of Brexit, the unrest in Europe with the yellow vests, the deflation regarding fuel, the inflation regarding groceries and durable goods, the rising rents, the tax burden associated with owning property, the fact that property is way over valued, the fact that the boomers are dying off, and the millennials and gen x does not have the spending capability that the boomers and the greatest generation had,

there is no way in hell I would own stocks at this point.

There are other issues as well, but dont have time to name them.

The sun is setting on the petro dollar and the American empire.
