I got 3 years old iphone with failing charging port where I have to manipulate the cord into the port so it could start charging. Also the battery seems to drain fast these days... Sounds like maybe you have a bad charging cable. Lithium ion batteries don't last forever since they chemically degrade after many charges and discharges. Three years is a long time on the same battery, so you probably need to change it. No, I have used a bunch of different cables and they are all like that. It is the charging port that seemed a bit lose. You can wiggle it when you plug in the charger cord. Maybe it was because I badly damaged it when I tripped over a rock in the dark and smashed the screen big time. That was two years ago... I dunno. There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn’t true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true. |
