Hmmm, ever hear Yoko Ono? I'm better off listening.

If she couldn't make recordings you would never have had to hear her.

Good point. Although it borders torture?

Beautiful, Tess.

The problem with Tallis is, whilst his music is harmonious, it sound so bloody sad. At the end of his pieces. I always feel depressed, as though my child had just died and I was in mourning. Therefore, his music CANNOT be called 'beautiful'. It's merely very harmonious but monotonously mournful.

Agree.. so nice to have something beautiful on GLP after months of political bitterness and depressing posts.
I love Chopin's brilliant piano pieces and other classical masters. I do find that the piece posted as classical also nice to listen to but lacking in the depth and brilliance of the true classical masters.

Was schooled in classical opera as a young person as I was gifted with a singing voice. It was years of study and I found it did dull my appetite for joyfulness in music. However I still have a great love for music and appreciate the wonderful works of the Mozarts etc.
I'm a long time reader and contributor to GLP. Love to delve into the issues presented there. Have made many friends.

Baging cats for peace indicated to me that someone was going to get tossed off the tower soon.

And, of course, we never ever have peace so it's just inconceivable how cold that woman's heart must be.

I wanted to share this because it says so much, and in times like these...

Ephesians 5:11
And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.

"A people that elect corrupt politicians, imposters, thieves and traitors are not victims... but accomplices" George Orwell.
