I felt the same way when mom died a few years ago. She is in heaven now and dad is still here with us, but we know we will be with her again one day.

My Dad passed away on Christmas Eve at home with my Mom 12 years ago. He had just finished rapping mine and my sister's presents.

And when it was my moms turn to go, my mom told me she was afraid of being alone.

I told her "you wont be, dad and I have that all worked out...I'll be holding your hand on this side while dad comes and takes your hand on the other side".

And that's exactly how it played out.
