Her eyes have been opened by plastic surgery. Notice how high her eyebrows are. That's because the plastic surgeon cuts across the hairline above the forehead. He pulls the skin up and cuts the excess skin away, then sutures it back together. That opens up the eyes, but the eyebrows look strange because they are so high! Eyebrows should not be that high normally.
