A gas explosion can be destructive but they generally only affect the property as the windows blow out eliviating the exlosive power. I have been on scene at a few as a gas man, they don't turn cars upside down.

in 911 the explosions were designed to take out First Responders. So the charges that were set were to trap and destroy, timed.

Also there is the threat of chemical weapons being used. This could happen with the initial explosion of delivered by drones at the scene afterward.

Many are trying to say this was a "gas" accident... it was not that simple.

Way too quick for media to be calling a gas explosion in my opinion. Live stream guy has said a couple times now he did not smell anything. Just a coincidence on that timing for the yellow vest bank run...we shall see.

Seems also that the explosion took place close to where the yellow vest protests were suppose to take place.

I guess we will see but it is mighty convenient timing wise and what a good cover (Bakery) for a deep state op! They threatened to mess with their money and we all know hurting someone in the wallet usually pisses them off lol.

It will be interesting how they spin it but it seems strange that they are so far away from the blast scene with ambulances etc? I missed a lot of report, is their an issue with access?

Unlikely this is a random explosion as it so happens to coincide with the Gilets Jaunes protests today (regardless of the origin).

More likely a planned attack. It is still just the morning, the day may well see many more events. Security forces are already running at high capacity.

Fwiw, the smell of natural gas is an additive. I have worked with the teams that go around checking the smell levels in the UK. A small quantity of this chemical on the floor at the scene would give a strong odour of natural gas. It is all so easy to cover up!

Usually above the shops are apartments. So the origin of the "gas" could have been directed manually without a doubt.

Watch out for VIEDs, vehicles with explosives driving into crowds, driving into buildings, causing more explosions.

ISIS has used natural gas in other attacks. this is typical terrorism 101.
