Taking out the tower may have been the objective, but it went way past that. The tower was very old, so corrosion and fatigue were likely factors as well. It is still under investigation. This has happened in the past in remote areas.Someone shot up some transformer substation in the northwest at a few locations.I thought it was suspected terrorism. If you don't have a vacuum sealer, consider getting one. We buy rice and beans in larger packages (cheaper) and break them down into 1lb portions and vacuum seal them. They keep better in the heavier vacuum bags as well. I've been married so long, I don't even look both ways when I cross the street. |

I have a little buddy propane heater that uses the small bottles but I you can get an adapter to use the larger grill tanks with and a butane stove. Just one burner but it's enough to boil water or cook something on. Tons of candles as well. |

I rent also. I have a little buddy propane heater that uses the small bottles but I you can get an adapter to use the larger grill tanks with and a butane stove. Just one burner but it's enough to boil water or cook something on. Tons of candles as well. I just two days ago ordered one of that type! Where have you found the best price for the bottles of butane? I have high-quality dried soups and such, for hot water making, and have tried to decide on what I could afford and what would be most practical for heating water. Finally decided.
