Our temps here today were so cold that the battery appears to have frozen, but I am unable to remove the red terminal cap that has a plastic side tab and looks like this one.... Quoting: Zorwog [link to imagehost.cc] For anyone else here who owns a Highlander or has a siminlar terminal cap design, how do I remove this? I've tried prying it upwards with no avail, and yet I can't seem to get this plastic side-grip tab off or unlatched. Try squeezing it at the widest part before you lift. |

Or squeeze as I stated, and then twist. |

You just lift it straight up from the base along side the battery, not from the top of the battery. |
