Hawaii braces for storm that could bring waves of up to 60 feet as residents on Oahu's North Shore are warned to prepare to evacuate

Same shit happens every year. Problem being people build and rebuild in stupid places. The ocean is big; living next to it is dangerous.

I'm sitting in Hawaii right now, it's no big deal where I am, and it won't be a big deal for the majority of people here. Some wind, the news said a few power lines are down, a couple of trees are down. The power here went out for literally a second or two. Two African hornbill birds escaped from the local zoo and were seen heading towards a park and a golf course.
