The way around that is to create Memes of what you want to get out there. They cant word search an image so it stays up unless someone reports it. "Never underestimate the pain of a person. In all honesty, everyone is struggling. Just some people are better at hiding it than others." Everyone has to work out their own salvation. Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards. |

Quoting: BBQ BOY™ The way around that is to create Memes of what you want to get out there. They cant word search an image so it stays up unless someone reports it. Thank you, I appreciate it. I mean realistically i'm not gonna have any reliance on people on social media not reporting my memes and such, but atleast it gives me an opportunity to have it up for longer than immediate dismissal. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 76169675 United States 02/21/2019 02:39 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As everyone knows, twitter censorship is rampant. But when it comes to Conservative or Christian rhetoric it has become even more difficult to post. I've been suspended nearly 25 times for either posting a scripture or an anti-abortion, etc type post. Today I attempted to post this video which is one of the more intense Atheist to Christian conversion videos i've ever seen (which i'd recommend if you have half an hour) and twitter refuses the video every time I try to post it, calling it malicious or slanderous. Quoting: Jeff87333 32144562 [youtube] [link to youtu.be (secure)] though its far from it. Regardless of your beliefs, this is a freedom of speech issue, not a religion issue. Social media has been slowly stripping the conservative right's voice away and it's at the point where we've become silenced to their own agenda. You are absolutely correct. That being said, you agreed to the terms when you sign up for Twitter or Facebook. They are private businesses and can do whatever they choose. I may not like it, and think it is sad that people still use the service knowing these facts, but there is nothing illegal about what they are doing. It would be equally distressing to me if they were "forced" to be neutral. |
Anonymous Coward (OP) User ID: 32144562 United States 02/21/2019 02:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Facebook is terrible. I have no facebook accounts because of that. I know that they have data collection from the past, but realistically they have data from my google searches, texts, emails, etc. Regardless, I refuse to have facebook based on principle. I'm probably going to delete my twitter also for the same. Its the only social media I have left. I'm not trying to duck the radar its close to impossible, but i'm not going to willingly be censored by left wing agendas forceably herding the pack. But hey, thats the been media in tptb's place for years now. |

It would be equally distressing to me if they were "forced" to be neutral. You're also correct. I suppose that that'd be also forcing their hand, which I agree with you on. Either way, it would defy what I stand for, as I said to someone else, its my last remaining form of social media. Sucks that you hafta keep quiet if you dont adhere to liberal ideology, but for the most part you do. So I guess at this point I might as well continue on with being blatant in my personal life with my words and feelings, and end the wasted time on all of those platforms. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 61780440 United States 02/21/2019 02:51 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | A friend of mine and I spent 15 minutes the other day reviewing a twitter link I provided him. He was unable to see any of the "conservative" posts that I was referencing. ...Until he logged out of his account and was viewing it anonymously. There is certainly something fucky going on there. |
