You can't just wait around for some magic-man to come down from the sky and murder off all of the people you don't like (which is what is described in revelation). This BASICALLY already happened once with Adolf Hitler and WW2 and pretty much 99% of the people who are waiting around for a messiah will also say Adolf Hitler "is evil" and they totally reject him, despite the fact that EVERYTHING he did is COMPLETELY and 100% in line with the description of the "second coming" in Revelation.......except that he lost, but that was due to the decision of humanity.

To some degree this is true, but to another degree it's not accurate to call someone a hypocrite when they're not out to blow their own horn, but rather just to tell you what the facts objectively are.

And I mean like, I actually think a lot of the "Nobody" and "Anomaly" threads are cool, but you should realize that they are largely fake, LARPs, or examinations of archetypal representations in the human psyche. I mean you should recognize that you are responsible for yourself. Humanity is responsible for itself.

Some of the "nobody" threads get to more of a concept of someone who just tries to do good in the world and help humanity see its best potential. And I think there ARE people like that who are just manifested from pure positive spiritual energy or whatever (like Jesus Christ or Adolf Hitler) but humanity generally REJECTS the SHIT out of those people. I mean Jesus got crucified and Hitler went on to become thought of as the personification of evil in our society (even though he was just fighting the communists, who were the true evil).

No I think Christianity is about a lot of good things. If you read the gospels and understand what Jesus was doing it's all good stuff. He was rebelling against Jewish authority. He was like an anti-government libertarian. He believed in freedom and free will. He preached about being a good person and listening to the holy spirit even specifically in cases where what you know to be right in your heart runs contrary to the law, such as when his disciples thought he shouldn't heal on the Sabbath and he actually got MAD at them for it.

All sorts of good things.

But then when you get into all of that "Jesus actually WANTED to die and he did it for your sins" and some of the other bullshit IMO it seems pretty obviously retconned in.

This is what happens naturally cuz evil sees anything decent and true and positive and immediately tries to twist it and pervert. Remember evil is always drawn to beauty and innocence and perfection and rightness, but ONLY for the sake of perverting it and that's what happened to the story of Christs life. It was prob easy since the gospels are written generations after he died.

And then everything else in the bible, esp the Jew books, is just BS that has nothing to do with Christ. Even Paul the apostle, IMO, was a huge con artist.

What he had disdain for was corrupt and overbearing law. He disdained law and order on an individualist level, hanging out with thieves and hookers himself, but expressly recognized the practical need for it on a more macro level.
