The fed has reversed there balance sheet normalization. The fed has said no more rate hikes in 2019. If the economy was good like is claimed by msm and trump then the fed could continue the rate hikes and balance sheet normalization the real unemployment rate is something like 21%. We have more retirees working today than anytime in US history. More people have more than 1 job than anytime in US history. This market should have collapsed already back in 2008 and should have stayed collapsed until 2020. In 2020 the usa could have started rebuilding and coming back to life. What they did was kicked the can down the road because this collapse will still happen. The great experiment failed a long time ago |

I don't know fuck-all about how bonds work. How/who do you invest in? With an inversion, the 30-year yield will be going down and the 3-month to 10-year yield will be rising. Bond investors want their yields to go down because it makes the bond prices rise. Price and yield have an inverse relationship. To be safe just buy something like BND, because even though we know the curve will be changing, its hard to know as the inversion happens differently in each recession. BND has a mix of all bonds but it is more weighted towards the long term bonds. |
