I HAVE a pin/unpin button on every thread. This would never fly because people would reboot and continuously vote until there were 60 Ron Paul threads. Seriously, what are you going to do when 60 threads are "voted" to be pinned and then decide enough is enough? Try to talk everyone in to voting to unpin some? Come on, think it through.
It would work if IP addresses on the votes were recorded. Whoever programs the system could make it so that you can't vote on pinning and unpinning threads when you're using a proxy server.
As long as the system was making sure that each IP address could vote only and that you can't vote if you're using a proxy server, spamming threads would be impossible, each person could only vote once.

You're not being logical, you also ignored what I said about what happens when you have 60 pinned threads? You aren't even registered I'm assuming since you are posting as an AC. If you register you can add threads you like to a favorites list anyway. Maybe you could try that instead of pushing an agenda.
