Re: Gold/Silver/Metals VS Bitcoin?
Money has played out its role.

We were bred as workers, and money was the incentive to get us to do stuff.
Now, we are becoming obsolete as workers, so we have to find our worth as a human and not a worker-drone.
There will not be anything worth having that we can produce that the robots cant do cheaper.
It will be back to nature or perish in a transhuman AI future.

Re: Gold/Silver/Metals VS Bitcoin?
anyone that thinks bitcoin is a viable long term investment is retarded.

play it short like stock and win. or lose! only invest what you're willing to lose.

The only viable long term investment is a garden.

If the power goes, it will be total collapse mode, PM will buy you shit.
When we go into the grand solar minimum and little ice age, food will be the number one item.

you're right in that you can't eat it. but all metals will always have a value. lead, iron, and copper included. in that regard a penny will out value a dollar.

good luck gardening without a shovel.
 Quoting: lawnornament

You are giving a shovel too much credit.

Once people start to decrease on earth, it will go downhill fast and the rest will be left with gigantic amounts of metals laying around.

These metals are the symbol of everything that is wrong with this world.
How we pollute and destroy it to get these _precious_ metals, or any metal that we can turn into a product to sell.

It has zero value for a true human.
It is all for the market.

It is a toxic soup.

Uh. WTF happened to this generation?

Bitcoin is TERRIBLE idea.

Any electronic currency is TERRIBLE idea.

Grid dependant.

Totally trackable.

WTF is wrong with you people?

Hooray you came up with a (supposedly) unhackable digital currency...

Digital currency is a TERRIBLE idea.

You must be a special kind of stupid. Bitcoin is net superior to all precious metals. Read a book ffs: The bitcoin standard.

Re: Gold/Silver/Metals VS Bitcoin?
Today's younger generation has been indoctrinated and brainwashed to make as many deals with the devil as it takes to make it rich, famous, powerful or whatever it is their little hearts desire.

They don't want to be told "NO!" and they don't want to hear about working hard, saving and perseverance to get what they want in life.

For the past 30 years, they've been sold on the idea of "Get rich quick" schemes... first with those late night infomercials back in the 90's (like Don Lupre), the into reality to star programming with everything from America's Got Talent to American Idol and just about every variation or iteration of "reality tv" shows where notoriety will make you a star... and the crazier the better (like Jerry Springer or WorldStar).

Then you have these lotteries (a tax system) now where the prizes reach into the hundreds of millions of dollars as opposed to something more reasonable.

So the idea of buying a precious metal and holding it, compared to bitcoin and cryptocurrency that is "Hip", "Anti-Government" and "of the people" appeals to all of these hipsters who are Internet save, but with most lacking basic economic sense, never having lived out from under debt (credit card to college and car loan payments mainly) so much so that when Mark Dice tried to GIVE a 1 ounce Gold and 1 ounce Silver coins away to people, many refused to even entertain the idea... even standing in front of a coin store! I mean, how lazy or stupid can one be?

The mark of the beast is happening. Many wondered how it would appear, but it's here... in the form of Digital RFID and other biometric markers, to digital currency and soon, social credit scores as well.

George Orwell and the KGB could have NEVER envisioned such a future world back in the 50's, 60's or 70's!!!

In a word, without a bloody and violent revolution, it's over soon.

Re: Gold/Silver/Metals VS Bitcoin?
It all depends on your goals. If you want a speculative investment that could potentially rise or drop huge percentages, then hold bitcoin. If you wanted something that's truly stable and that can work really well as a store-of-value, go with gold(for now). More info on [link to cryptolinks.com (secure)]

Do you tards really believe that the human race will colonize Mars and bring gold bars, silver bars, piles of cash and credit cards? Crypto is the unstoppable future. Not to mention with crypto guarantees 100% taxation for your government. You can’t buy lemon aid at a child’s lemon aid stand without paying tax. For that reason alone it will happen.

Yeah, well, that "terrible idea" paid off my house all my son's education expenses, bought me three newer cars, paid off my business debt, and most importantly, allowed me to buy 6 figures worth of precious metals.

So, that is WTF is wrong with me.

Try again you no-coiner, loser.
