They'd rather throw out food, incinerate clothes, products just so the poor don't get to it | |

The money people have worked for years for whether it be for food stamps, insurance, social security other people see as "welfare" and laziness but I put hundred of hours in at work and I know damn well all the people that have worked deserve what little help they get. I can't believe how many people here at glp and other places shill for these corporations and the fucked up society we live in. |

It's sad. I give away free stuff all the time as long as it is in good condition. People really appreciate it. Honestly though the things in this post people will call you a communist/socialist. They will complain about people wanting $15 dollars an hour while some people have billions. I know a lot of hard workers that will never get ahead. My favorite is when people here say well go get a better job. Ah yes because everyone can be a CEO or have a skilled trade job. Ain't no sunshine when she's gone...ain't no borderline psychotic emotional outbursts either. Some days you just have to create your own sunshine. |

The reason is because the poor people who were given the clothes would return them to the stores and try to get money for them as a valid return. Sad but true. |

Have you ever been to a restaurant in a big city in the winter. There are all the homeless people out side suffering. Inside, they are throwing huge portions of food in the garbage. There has to be a way to organize this so all that good food can be distributed to the homeless, but not in a way that attracts them and hurts business. |
Karl-Marx User ID: 68881961 United States 04/06/2019 05:57 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yeah this is the "great nation" Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49016657 Where they'd rather throw out food than donate it and let it expire for flies to eat. Burberry, Gucci, Prada would rather incinerate their clothes than make it affordable so that no poor or middle class person gets their hands on it And they'd rather throw thousands of products into a dumpster rather than let people buy it on discount or get it free. Late/peak capitalism. Remember the pyramid scheme- there will ALWAYS have to be people on top that need all below to support them. I mean, how else will they get rich and mooch off the workers? Ridiculous. This country is absolute garbage at this point. Paid for corporations and here we are bailing them out constantly but if we owe a loan or something they go after you and make your life HELL. You'll lose your house, car, etc but the banks get bailed out at every twist and turn. Quit blaming capitalism when you are not living in a capitalist society. Your society is mostly socialist/communist at this point. The free-market capitalist society installed by the founders of America has created more wealth, raised more people out of poverty, and increased the standard of living more than any other society on earth. Corrupt and paid for corporations are not the fault of capitalism... it is the fault of your communist politicians who have drastically increased the size and power of government over the past 100 years. If the government was small as the founders indented it to be then they would have little power/money to give out. In a truly free market capitalist society corporations/banks which are completely mismanaged and gambled away all their money would be allowed to go bankrupt.... which would allow banks/corporations that acted more responsible to take their place. Back in the 80's my family owned a restaurant in midtown Manhattan and gave away food to the homeless every night....so did the green grocer on the block that had veg and fruits that were bruised or ugly....
