In a few hours, some of these storms out in front of the ...front..are going to evolve into supercells.Lets hope this doesn't turn into a legit outbreak, but 2500 CAPE and 50 to 60kts wind shear is still pretty high. Not as high as the 3000 some models were showing yesterday, but this system has plenty of energy to work with. Quoting: Luisport TWC is saying "Violent" and "Long Track" tornadoes for N Louisiana. That is very rare in Louisiana to see an EF4, because those are technical terms usually associated with EF4 and EF5. This is going to be awful if that forecast comes to pass.  I can see the part of North Texas I am in under a Tornado Watch now. The storms, rain, and high winds we've been getting for hours have been getting nuts for hours now. If you live in the countryside all the more so, but if you live in the city or a town then all you have to go by to see where the tornado is physically is using the ambient city lights.
