SpaceX Prepares to Launch First 60 Satellites of its Starlink Constellation

Launch window opens up tonight at 10:30 pm eastern, 2:30 UT. SpaceX will attempt to launch 60 pancake stacked satellites for its Starlink constellation of low earth orbit based internet communications satellites. This will offer an order of magnitude lower latency than geostationary communications satellites can.

The satellites launched tonight will not quite be the final production design; one key feature missing from these prototypes is the satellite-to-satellite laser communication. This will allow communications to pass through the network of satellites themselves without having to route through ground stations to travel to the opposite side of the planet.

This will be the third flight of the first stage core B1049, which previously launched Telstar V18 and Iridium 8.

I'm driving down to the launch tonight and will film it with my equipment. Due to three false copyright strikes currently on my YouTube channel I will not be able to post it right away, but my buddy and I will be live streaming on his channel from his camera. You can watch that here:

This will be a game changer for global satellite broadband. If I'm not mistaken, Google is privately financing this endeavor. Skynet for real.

Thank you for the update :) I was trying to confirm launch window open time, and came to look for a post from you first lol
Also I saw about the strikes against you. Is there anything YouTube subscribers can do to tell YouTube there were no copyright infringements from you? If anything people are trying to steal your original footage.

Yeah exactly, it's ridiculous. If you have twitter, tweet at TeamYouTube and ask them to lift the restrictions on my channel pending the outcome of my three counter notifications.

I've had no luck getting them to lift the restrictions even though I can prove it's my footage.

The saving grace is the antennas for the Starlink system will be fairly large, likely phased arrays.

Not something you can hide easily.

Of course, you can trade bandwidth for a smaller antenna. Depends on the application.

I remember reading about this system around 3 years ago. The plan was for something like 5,200+ LEO sats linked up around the world. The article boasted this system would give wireless gigabit bandwidth to a large chunk of the world.

I'm not an expert on the frequencies needed to reach the gigabit bandwidth the article was boasting. Giving my own experiences with Unifi APs, the carrier frequencies need to be rather high to accommodate a gigabit sat system. Higher frequencies don't necessarily need a large transceiver (cell phones as example) Or am I missing something?

Back in the late late 90s and very early 2000s, Microsoft was entertaining a similar concept of a massive deployment of LEO sats, but failed to gain traction due to the lack of logistical support to get them up in orbit at a reasonable cost.

Artificial assimilation.

Extract from pleiadian comms:

In the year 2136, humans are completely assimilated by technology, and begin a further assimilation of the pleiadian star system.
The assimilated humans existence ends there, but the pleiadians "travel" back in time to the origins of the assimilated humans, here on gaia to assist humanities ascension out of the archon matrix to prevent the extinction of humanity.

Good hollywood movie? Could be...

Open eyes and mind (currently humanity is entombed in darkness (not entirely but a significant %))

If we keep establishing technology as a saviour or deity, it will become the 1 authority.

You really think they are doing this for humanity...

Technology was assimilated into this world to control.
That's all that needs to be said.

Anything up there I will probably use as a weapon and it won't be how you think. I can be a very evil and sadistic person if needs be and I'll have that hacked and in the hands of every dragon in my harem. And then we will conquer this level and then go to the next one and fuck it up for this retarded shit.

And I know what's up where and what isn't ya dick nozzles.
