Sorry Op that’s horrible.
A raccoon once broke into my mother in laws chicken coop and killed all of her sixteen silky chicken just for sport. She was devastated.

Previous owner of this place had only 1 killing of his chickens over many years. Raccoons ripped off the majority of his chicken's heads, through the chicken wire. They didn't even want to eat the chickens. Just wanted to kill them.
