It's 2 cells fused together, a sperm and an ovum. If a lump of cells must be protected and kept alive then circumcision should be forbidden too. There's more living cells in a foreskin than in a weeks-old fetus Taking a piece of skin off is not like snuffing out a life. And it is a life at conception.
