* At 833 AM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado
was located near Silver Valley, or 10 miles northwest of Coleman,
moving northeast at 25 mph.

This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

Tornado watch issued for Hunt county Texas (Greenville, Wolfe City, Caddo Mills, Commerce)

It's taken on a linear/squall feature. While tornadoes could still certainly happen in embedded cells, in front of the line towards Northeast Texas and into Arkansas, they've high dew points, warm temps, and any clear skies they have will equal discreet cells forming out ahead of this main line. I've got a friend up in this area I'm concerned about. They never take threatening weather seriously...

Monday will be very very bad!

We Texans tend to be slightly callused in regards to severe weather. Hail storms have been so frequent lately... I have a twin mattress in the bed of my truck I strap over the windshield when storms roll through. I really hope storm season hurries up and ends, that mattress is starting to smell awful!

Oklahoma is getting swallowed!

We're already seeing high winds here... neighbors trash bin blew against my house about 30 minutes ago, scared my wife so bad she dropped her coffee cup!

Local repeater has been awful quiet, havent even heard the usual Saturday morning coffee chatter. My guess is everyone is getting their rest for an active evening.
