Factor in that it’s anywhere from 0.999 to 0.9999 pure. At those volumes it will make a difference.

until a rest happens that price will not go up much it may go down its what the banks want.

FRom the mouths of 'very concerned' environmentalists who happen to know a bit about metals...the price of silver has to be $1200.00 an ounce to make it worth recovering from an average cellphone. Since primary silver miners are not spending extra money on looking for new resources due to the ever increasing cost of mining silver...this seems reasonable.

No. They simply wouldn't allow it to happen.

There is mine production during the same time frame. So you have to account for that. I think you mean like US Silver eagles because they are minted from US reserves. If that's what you meant they often stop selling for periods of time until they get more metal or balance things out.

So they would probably stop selling when they got below 500 million ounces in reserve.
