Question to the math experts.
If there is 900 million ounces of silver in the total us reserves how many months would it take for 300 million people buying 1 ounce of silver a month to clean out the total us reserves. [ poof no more silver]

Divide by half.... so 150 million people that may do this because liberals are BROKE.

Then some more factors of Americans being lazy, I say about 2,000 more than the typical collectors now would do it.

Factor in that it’s anywhere from 0.999 to 0.9999 pure. At those volumes it will make a difference.

So 300 million people buy 1 ounce of silver a month? Or did you mean 300 million people buying 1 ounce each per month?

FRom the mouths of 'very concerned' environmentalists who happen to know a bit about metals...the price of silver has to be $1200.00 an ounce to make it worth recovering from an average cellphone. Since primary silver miners are not spending extra money on looking for new resources due to the ever increasing cost of mining silver...this seems reasonable.

Silver and Gold, are just an old school way of controlling the people.

They updated it to legal tender money/coins.

Now we are at the electronic age.

Do you really think any of this holds any bearing?

I mean, seriously.

Power goes out, or in my case here...the ATM reader goes down. Nobody in the line up has a clue what to do so since I live in a small town...I reach in my pocket and pull out cash and give them all what they need. And they always pay me back. If you can not hold it you do not own it. The same goes for if you can not fix it, you do not own it. I guess these subtleties are out of your scope of thinking.

There is mine production during the same time frame. So you have to account for that. I think you mean like US Silver eagles because they are minted from US reserves. If that's what you meant they often stop selling for periods of time until they get more metal or balance things out.

So they would probably stop selling when they got below 500 million ounces in reserve.
