TV came on in middle of the night

remote batteries running dead.

In the case of my old residence on spirit apparently didn’t realize he/she had passed and from the activity, the entity thought it still lived there.

Good lord. That's not funny :/

I'm a big believer in the supernatural.....BUT..... this happened to me once and I found out it was because the batteries were getting old/worn out. I bought new batteries and it stopped. Now, if you have relatively new batteries, well...

I've had my computer(s) come on a few times, full blast, playing music.

I now turn the volume down before I go to bed.


Probably a passed away close relative.

The night of my fathers funeral I was watching 'the twilight zone' on DVR. The channel changed to a guy in a hospital gown sitting on a table, the doctor told him - 'you have cancer'. My father died of cancer and funnily enough have not seen that commercial since then. The next night was even stranger but may post that another time - One thing i will say is a picture came on the screen and no inputs were on the t.v - no cable, no dvd, no antenna etc. The 'camera' was pointed at a man sitting at a table, hands folded, in a suit and i felt i knew the person off camera he was talking to. The image was all magenta, btw.

I should mention it was his t.v. which i still have and nothing happened since...still works fine. You may want to watch the movie 'white noise' as well.

I remember reading an article that when computers were first issued they had a back door built in view for intelligence agencies. They said that is why they suddenly would pop on while turned off. My guess is that is what is going on with TVs suddenly turning on.

That happened to me at my best friend's house, way back in the 90's when I was spending the night. She claimed her house was haunted since it was at least 100 years old. She said she heard little children and stuff. I never believed her, because she made up stuff to seem cool.

But one of the nights I slept over, we were sleeping in the living room. There was an old big TV that didn't operate and became the TV stand for a newer more modern TV. The old TV clicked on in the middle of the night!!!!! We were SOOOOOOO freaked out! It didn't have a remote control or anything, it was too old. I never even seen it ON before that night, and I been friends with her for a few years at that time.

Now the bots are fighting each other. Shit. That's how they evolve.

The batteries are fine. I don’t recall this ever happening in owning this TV for several years.

Could possibly be a startup timer enabled in the TVs setup. We had a TV accidentally set up like that years ago and could never figure out why it always turned on at 3:00 AM. Turned out someone was messing in setup and switched it on.
