Has anyone else noticed MAJOR CHANGES in Google Search?!?

Yeah, tonight I noticed a pronounced change. Especially in youtube searches. Algorithm changes. It's all different somehow. Things that used to come up don't anymore.

They prioritize the result by what makes them the most money or is in line with their agenda, even if it wasn’t part of your search request.

Its been at least a year now that all the search engines for every website are now returning bs results

You either dont get anything of value that you are searching for, or you get a trillion results, with some of the things you are searching for, but it takes page after page of browsing

you used to be able to type in a search and find the exact thing you wanted, regarding almost anything. Now, theres threads, titles, pages, sites, etc, that you know exist, you have seen, but dont come up in searches

This isnt just news things, its buying and selling things too. You type in the exact name in a stores search engine, nothing comes up, or tons of irrelevant results come up, then you search using a different engine and you get exactly what you were looking for

they are purposely ruining the algorithms to make information and products harder to find

They dont want the internet to be as efficient as it was and they dont want knowledge and good shared as easily, at least certain ones


you will always be able to search for your lardassian makeup though

Yup its been going on for years now,its getting worse..i pretty much stopped anything google...its a crappy web searcher now...used to be best..now its a dud..

the whole internet is changing to the worse...harder and harder to find the REAL SITES...on anything..

I had to quit using google (I was using it through startpage all along) because I search on natural health topics a lot and google has their results set to only give you mainstream pharmaceutical results.

I've been using duckduckgo and like it much better.

I’m not noticing any problem like this. I can still find any business or whatever I want. You could be talking about the future, and if so that is scary. I don’t want to go back to those early days of the internet before Google when search engines did not work at all.

alternative health searches are pointless now. Doesn't matter how many pages deep you go. They are hiding info now instead of finding it for you. A search engine that filters instead of searching, that hides instead of revealing is not a search engine, its a gatekeeper!

Everything is match burning videos...silly

I ran into it last night on Duckduckgo, I was searching on "prevent COPD nutrition" something like that, and I only got bullshit "take your medications as prescribed by your doctor, wash your hands, and keep your vaccines up to date" on every site in the first few pages. No nutritional information about preventing the actual cause of it at all.

Of course I need to change the search terms and also go to good sites that I already know about to see if they have anything about COPD (now the 3rd leading cause of death in the USA, supposedly).

It sucks though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I noticed a while back that I can't get to any real information easily with my cell phone.

All it wants to do is sell me things.

Cell phones are no longer like little computers, they are more like little advertisement banners.

My kids tell me I need to change some things to ignore all that.

I use duck duck go...no tracking...no logging...complete privacy...excellent search results

I only use Google for fringe porn searches.

I noticed huge changes in youtube when you're watching a video the next video to dont_use_this is no where near close to the current video I was watching..

Like if I am watching al bieliek video on montauk, the next video will national geopgrahpic documentary on space.. like wtf is that.. it used to que up a bunch of montauk videos..
