carl sagan was one of the worst things to ever happen to the human race. Everything he thought was right or supported will eventually turn out to be wrong.

The major movie studios are all corporations which means they're bound by law to maximize profits. They have no choice but to minimize expenses as much as possible. They must try and pay their employees as little as possible just like all other corporations.
