Most Christians have lost interest in the rapture. Replacement theology, Dominion Theology, Prosperity Doctrine, New Age junk has them Seeking Their Best Life in the here and now and not longing for the Blessed Hope.

Sadly, I've noticed this to be more and more true as time goes on. I have a relative who believes in something called the "end times redistribution of wealth" where, apparently, God just makes everyone rich before He comes back to take us home. It is one of the most insane mentalities that I've heard yet regarding the Second Coming. Why would the Lord give us all more stuff to get us attached to this world before taking us away from here anyway?

It's a teaching that belongs to the the Dominionists...they teach that the power comes back to the Church via politics,commerce etc. They believe Jesus comes back only when His Church is ruling the earth. An extreme of it is...Jesus comes back Bodily by Manifesting HImself and His Kingdom fully in the Body of Christ...We Become Literal Jesus and that is His Return...It is a teaching that is gaining in popularity...also Universalism...Rob Bells Love Wins Book...its really big with the ultra Grace guys. No wonder the Bible says only half of those who claim they belong to him, actually have No OIL/Holy Spirit. The Foolish vs Wise is real...so many are being deceived by doctrines of devils. Another sign it's Time to Go Home.
