What's changed since the government shut down in December last year, is Trump has forced the media and Democrats to make the immigration crisis a national issue. Before that, the media, RINOs and open border Democrats were content to ignore immigration and dismiss critics as America First nativists and xenophobes. That changed beginning last December. Now many left of center and centrists see unchecked immigration as a national emergency. And don't tell me Trump can't be impeached and imprison. That's a real threat, and would push events into a civil war/martial law scenario that should be the option of last resort. He got elected largely based on his immigration rhetoric. And the people that voted against him certainly havent changed their minds. So what you're saying is we just need a few more here and there and he will be able to get started. If only he had control of both houses of congress for 2 years. You know, impeachment proof. That would be nice. Oh wait, he did.
