Ohio Ends Conceal Carry Licensing

Great news. The more law abiding citizens there are that carry weapons, the more polite the society becomes and the more quickly any issue can be neutralized. It's much harder to be a mass shooter when you are shot dead after killing one or two people. Less women will be attacked, raped, robbed, etc.

Across the board, people that concealed carry are also statistically the most law abiding citizens in every metric. Even police officers are statistically more likely to be charged with a crime than concealed carriers.

Every state not allowing carrying a weapon for protection are political traitors to the constitution. Simple as that.

Republicans control both the House and Senate and governor DeWine(R) has stated that he will sign Constitutional Carry if it hits his desk. It has a good chance of passing.

Should have never needed a license to begin with, carting weapons concealed or not is already covered through the constitution. Its only the liberal communist in this country who think they can interpret the law to their own liking.

That would mean NO RECIPROCITY with most other concealed carry states (probably ALL) since they require a concealed carry LICENSE in order to conceal carry in their state if you are from out of state.

Other states aren't going just let ANY Ohio Resident conceal carry in their state if their own Resident's can't.

If this goes through in Ohio be prepared to leave your gun(s) at home when you travel, if you are an Ohioan.

They'll keep the licensing in place for those who want to travel. But if you don't go anywhere you won't have to get that silly permit. Nothing is set in stone. We'll have to see how it all shakes out...
