I find programming too logical and hence tedious and boring.

My initial impression is that you need to stay put. Live more simply and make do with what you have.

Take care of yourself and get out more. It’s hard to do without money but that’s how you will find a better paying job.

I am scared to take a new job, I want to do art or work with successful people. Not in a call center/service sector.

This isn’t so important. You have a job now. It pays your basic necessities. You are restless with your life. You want more. You aren’t quite happy. You want to be happier as you were before. You know what happier feels like. That’s great!

Can I become an actor or a singer? I don't like doing office jobs, I love the arts.

I've always wanted to be a singer or an actor, not to do boring office jobs.

Psychics aren't trustworthy. I'd say you need to stop spending your time building other people's dreams and take control of your future. Become your own boss, start your own business or find a telecommute job that allows you to develop yourself outside of work.

One guy I knew was a huge history buff, and really into geneology and any kind of historical knowledge. I suggested he would be great at giving those city tours of Chicago.

And my husband I suggested he get into tree service. He always loved camping, fishing and the outdoors, and he gets bored easily and likes to do dangerous stuff. So I suggested he try tree service a few years before he finally tried it. Now he loves it and considers himself a "tree guy" for life and wouldn't consider doing anything else now.
