bit.tube is moving. Any way to save the content of deceased content creators?
There are several youtube-alternative websites that come and go like farts. One is called bit.tube. I got this email from them just now:

"Bit.tube website is migrating to BitTubers.com

To continue getting monetised with AirTime you have to create a new account at bittubers.com or the BitTube browser extension. Once you have an account, you will be able to link your current bit.tube profile which will give you access to your wallet and the option to import your content. We will take care to inform all of your subscribers about your new profile at BitTubers.com."

It sounds good. The old site says "Things change for the better!" But, there are many people who uploaded really good videos who are now dead. Seems the better the video, the better chance they passed on. Those videos will not normally be migrated to the new site. They will be deleted in September 2019 with the old site. Perhaps that's the whole point of all this.

Anyway, is there any way for people to download content from bit.tube of deceased content creators and upload it to bittubers.com? I tried ytd. Site not supported. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I may be confused, but I am not an idiot.

Epik.com operates the service called WatchMask.com for viewing, archiving and downloading YouTube videos. Would it be helpful to spin up the capability to do this for Bit.Tube videos to help folks archive videos they like?

We are also incubating a YouTube alternative at Us.Tv which would allow video channel operators to spin up their own YouTube alternative running on their own domain with their own monetization and own Terms of Service.

Last but not least, we are also producing an alternative to Google Drive which you can see operating at Armored.net which is well suited for secure file-sharing.

Yes, that would be great! I can pay for that too.

Sounds great. I am not sure monopolization is that important when the bigger issue is that conspiratorial content creators are dying off so quickly and their videos are going down with them to their graves. It's not the money its that there's a reward to those exposed for the exposers being dead. As long as that system is in place nobody will want to upload or create anything contradicting the official stories since who is going to risk their life?
