I neglect to pay my Verizon bill and it turns out you can wait a month but you got to either pay two months the next month or just pay last month and leave this month for next month but that's still two bills and etc only paying the past due one instead of the current one is what created the problem. The girl is bad at handling her finances and needs help!

So I'm not sure what you're saying indicates she didn't lie, unless there's something I'm missing? It is possible this phone company even tho you pay late has a standard shut off date even if the last bill was paid late. Example... bill due the 15th... was not paid until the 22nd... that would make it due for disconnect 3 weeks later. Best advice to you is.. 1. no more giving money 2. ask to see the bill then if you want to pay it your self. 3.think this relationship through. It sounds to me like she scammed you to get money for something else.
