I sure would appreciate if we could embed a few other video platforms here.  I have yet to find an alternative that offers the full range of features of YouTube, including a powerful API, live streaming, analytics, monetization options, etc. Some offer a subset of those features, but I have yet to find a clear winner who isn't prone to censorship. Well, your needs (and many here) vary greatly from mine. 80% of my YT time is spent watching the stuff that I found here... I'm really just a super casual consumer. I don't really subscribe and rarely sign in. There's lots of traffic here posting music vids & the like, too. Just hinting that I'd look elsewhere first if it were an option.
