Honestly it’s a good place to go if you need meds because then you have a better chance at it not becoming an issue later. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77100281 If your insurance covers it, and they accept you as a patient, and you have to go on a monthly basis, like being on probation. Yeah, that's the way to treat people. Treat them all like criminals. MY ex had a lot of allergies, so when she caught a small cold or something, I went to the pharmacy and bought one of everything they had. Today, they would arrest me and follow me home to raid my house. Except you have to sign for everything. Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave. Thanks Richard Milhouse Nixon, GW Bush, Obama. Motrin and Tylenol is all they could recommend for pain. Luckily I have a high pain tolerance. I had a bad infected tooth earlier this year and the ER did a nerve block. It was enough to get me to when the antibiotics started working but I was still in a serious amount of pain. Quoting: Spc__ On the flip side, when I got my wisdom teeth pulled I was prescribed eight norcos (Tylenol and Vicodin). I didn't even really need them, but they were part of the "after care package." Urgent care here is no longer allowed to prescribe pain meds, ER it has to be a serious case and they usually dose you and then send you to the pain clinic, and anyone needing long term pain management has to report to the pain clinic every few days to get refills authorized and take a urine test to make sure their levels are where they should be and they aren't abusing/selling the pills. Sounds good, except you made one fatal mistake. Urine tests are *QUALITATIVE* tests, not *QUANTITATIVE* tests. They DO NOT report levels of substances, only the presence of substances. A urine test can no more tell a doctor how MUCH of a given substance is in your system than licking your forehead does. Therefore, at least part of what you said is a lie. |

It's not nearly as addictive as the pills either, I can have it laying around and not use it, where I couldn't with opioid pills. Only the red vein varieties work with pain for me though, the green seem to be more energizing. Add some cannabis oil to that and you have about all you need. |

Of course, a lot of doctors are wising up to the pill heads, so if you raise any red flags, they'll give you nothing stronger than coffee. |

Even something after a tooth extraction can have a person addicted in no time. When they can't get prescriptions any longer they turn to heroine. There are also other meds they now can not prescribe with pain meds. Yet they want to outlaw kratom and some payment precessors are no longer processing for those that sell cbd oil. The natural remedies are much safer and less addicting. |

Friend taking chemo for cancer, getting very very sick and their answer for pain and nausea? Take some tylenol. That's dangerous because Tylenol can mask a condition that is fatal in chemo patients if not known soon enough. Iirc it hide symptoms that would otherwise bring attention to it. Oxycodone with out Tylenol or Motrin was ideal 15 years ago. |
