I saw the "Lander" mock-up at the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle and thought - again - what a crock of shit if ANYONE thinks this POS (tar paper with mylar) withstood extreme temperatures in both sunlight and shade, micrometeorites traveling at 10,000 mph NOT punching the lander or the astronNOTs spacesuits without hiding in a cave somewhere.

Nope, six landings go off without a single incident. The exception being Apollo 13 which was FAKED as to capture the public's attention back to the Apollo space program of which they were losing interest in. They didn't want their "I Love Lucy" programming interrupted. FACT.

You may ask why the Russians didn't tell the world about America's fake moon landing. They knew it but America were feeding the Russians with shipments of grain as not to starve to death. BTW, the USA and Russia were NEVER enemies in the 'space race'.
