Why Concealed Carry for Women Is Both Necessary and Important

CULTURE AND SOCIETY, ALONG WITH FEARS AND STEREOTYPES, FACTOR IN, BUT CONCEALED CARRY FOR WOMEN IS ABOUT SAFETY, WINNING THE FIGHT AND MUCH, MUCH MORE.

Fears & Stereotypes
I asked several women, “Why do you carry a gun, or choose not to?” Those who carry had one thing in mind: protection. Those who don’t carry said they didn’t feel safe, didn’t know anything about guns, or simply didn’t see themselves with a gun. But why? Why don’t they feel safe? Why don’t they see themselves shooting?

When it comes to firearms safety, I noticed a pattern that has nothing to do with what’s been broadcasted on the TV or internet, but the gun itself. Most women who said they don’t feel safe around guns stated that it was because of the noise and power they hold. This is understandable. The noise itself can make anyone jump, no matter how often you surround yourself with it. The power of a gun should be respected and not taken lightly.

I think all women should be educated in the use of a firearm and obtain their permits to carry. Rapes would almost go away. It would be just an occasional thing. The problem many women I have known is that their hands aren't strong enough to rack the slide on a semi auto pistol. I've encountered this time and time again. Smith and Wesson makes a. 380 EZ model with a weaker spring that is especially designed for women. That or a small. 38 snubbie would be what I suggest.

We're living in the Golden Age of Guns. Manufacturers are now making gun models to fit and work for almost everyone. They still have room to improve and are getting there.

I understand that but I'm speaking from experience. My last two girlfriwmds couldn't rack the slide on a glock 9mm. One of them couldn't even do it on a colt mustang. 380. My step mother also couldn't rack the colt mustang. My friends mom's husband died a year ago. He felt the need to buy her a handgun for protection with his dad gone. So he took her to a range where you can rent all the pistols you want and shoot them before you buy. The only one she could chamber was the. 380 sw EZ model. So that's what he bought.
