Suicide by gunfire is def weird. I think the usual verbiage is "death by self inflicted gunshots" to describe suicide. If they shot at each other, which is silly if you think about it, then it wasn't a suicide. Probably because the forensics disprove self inflicted wounds. Doesn't automatically follow that they shot each other. The whole story stinks. Port Alberni isn't exactly the suburbs either. Lots of forest and wilderness around there, just not as vast and remote as northern Manitoba.
