EXTENDED FORECAST...
All eyes continue to monitor Tropical Storm Dorian over the
Eastern Caribbean Sea for this weekend. NHC is currently
forecasting Tropical Storm Dorian to move to the northwest late
this week before turning to more of a west northwest direction this
weekend, and be somewhere in the near Northwest Bahamas or near
the east coast of Florida this weekend. At this time, the threat
for winds and heavy rains has increased for this weekend. It`s
important not to focus on the details of the extended track
forecast as the average 5-day track error is around 150 to 200
miles. Keep up with this evolving forecast as the details become
clearer in the days going forward. This is a good reminder to make
sure that your plan and supplies are in order as we head into the
peak of the Hurricane Season.

I'm outside Ocala. We cut all the trees down that would have caused a problem last hurricane. I have plywood but I'm sure I won't have to break it out unless things change.

Friends are in Jacksonville. But they don't seem phased. I honestly think there ready for this, if it's not over a CAT 3 it'll be OK. And the CAT 2 only depends on flooding. if you're in a low lying area and you're near the coast you should definitely take this seriously. But if this jumps up or changes directions we're staying tuned.

It can be a Cat3 or biger... we don't know the intensity now, but Dorian is missing PR so no weakening untill he got Fl coast.
