Problem #1, deer overpopulation because mankind (oxymoron in this case) decided in their infinite wisdom to eradicate most of the deer's natural predators over almost all of it's range.

Problem #2, The hunting community will preach to you about how they have replaced the predators and that they keep deer populations in check. Umm, no, they are more plentiful here in northern WI than squirrels are. Heck, I think cars and pickups do more to keep the population in check than do hunters anymore.

A larger issue is how hunting works. Hunters buy a tag, they have a week (here in WI, gun deer season is 1 week) to harvest the animal of their choosing. The hunter will sit in a stand for hours at a time day in and day out waiting for the perfect deer to happen by. Hunters take the biggest, strongest animals they can bag, period. Natural predators remove the weak and sickly from herds.

Hunters taking the strongest animals out of circulation leaves you with the smaller, weaker and often, sicker deer. This is the exact opposite of the natural order of things, so we reap what we sow.

They certainly seem hell bent on keep humans in their system and sacred full of fear.

This is exactly what happened in all these abandoned Inca cities and all over the world ruins.

Once the citizens of said city realise they never going to be much more than slaves to the system, and start questioning why they are living a lesser life while others get it all for free or easy?

They leave and the cities become abandoned , you can be your own king, don't need a king and controls put on you forced with Laws, courts and people with guns.
