This is called a prayer, addressing a dead person, and you are asking them for a solid, also a prayer.

Only possible conclusion: You are praying to Mary.

I guess there's one other possibility: You are muttering empty, meaningless words to things you don't understand.

Either way, it's not Christian.

Jesus Christ taught us to pray to God directly.

Moses taught us to put no other God before the Father.

The words of the prayer are primarily BIBLICAL.

Without a doubt the prayer is addressed to Mary. We are praying to Mary asking her to intercede for us with Jesus that we might find Mercy and forgiveness for our sins and help with our problems.

No doubt we are praying to Mary. We do fully acknowledge that all power on heaven and earth has been given to Jesus.

Its not an attempt. Mary is Queen of Earth and of Heaven. Imagine that!

I believe that this means that Mary is to be the mediator for us with God.

She suffered so much throughout her life and at the crucifixion by agreeing to be the Mother of Jesus, that it is taught in the Bible that she is blessed to be the mediator for us with Jesus. He listens to her when she REVEALS THE THOUGHTS OF MANY HEARTS because she is so worthy to go before the Throne and be heard. It is MARY who sits at the right had of the Throne of Jesus.

Jesus is the intercessor not Mary.
