That means this giant uptick in flu could very well be Kung Flu - the world will never know if they are not testing. You will get no news on local tv. If you want to know what is really going on, drive by the local hospital or look at the shelves at Walmart.

Yeah....for sure get a shotgun now while you still can. 12 gauge pump or semi-auto than can hold multiple rounds. Single shooters are useless for defense. They’re easy to operate, easy to maintain, and don’t require precision aim.

Get a variety of shells...target/birdshot for small game, 00 buckshot for big game and defense. Shells are relatively cheap and plentiful (can still be found in most Walmarts.) Get a strap (they generally don’t come with one) and an inexpensive cleaning kit.

The ROI is invaluable. If things get bad, you’ll regret having nothing. If things happen to blow over or some return to normalcy eventually happens, you can resell for very little loss.

So I've been looking and thinking and reading and hopefully learning.

So looking at the official numbers of cases in China (not worried if the numbers are accurate at this point), infection number are generally doubling every 72 hours.

You can start with any date and see for yourself.

So Friday 1/31, we were at 11,300 (give or take); today 2/3 we are at 20,622. Not quite a doubling, but pretty damned close.

In the USA, we had 1 reported case on January 21st. today 2/3 we have 11 reported cases - just shy of the doubling again, which should have put us at 12 reported cases today.

Let's test this

So if USA is at 12 cases today, I suggest we will be right around 24 cases on Thursday night, February 6th and around 48 cases on Sunday, February 9th.

In China, I think we will see a number around 21,000 by Thursday night, February 6th and around 42,000 on Sunday, February 9th.

If these numbers hold true, I'm pretty sure we are fucked.

And, if these numbers hold true, my ass is going to ground on Monday, February 10th.
