Thank you, here is an update. Doctor thought it was influenza, but wouldn't swab because he wasn't gonna give me Tamiflu, since it apparently doesn't work after 72 hours. Thought I was past the worst, gave me an inhaler and prednisone. FYI, I am not too far from Irvine where the one orange county patient was from. Orange county I guess doesn't count as Los Angeles because they didn't even mention testing me for anything. Even though it looks like I have a viral infection. I have had the flu shot. Doctor thinks the shot is why I have a mild form of the flu. My fever never got above 101.2

Still here. Thanks for the update. But one question: When did you get your flu shot? I got mine in September 2019. If you got your flu shot in the last two weeks then I can understand the doctor saying it might be from the flu shot, but if you got it months ago then that is a very weird theory your doctor has.

Anyway, I can see that the doctors can't really test for anything but the flu. So we really are on our own. You probably don't have COVID though so I guess you can relax for now.

I work in 13 emergency rooms here in southern Illinois across 12 counties.

Last night I started coughing at work. Today I'm coughing a lot more and can feel my body starting to battle something. General low-end fatigue at the moment. It feels like a big fight is coming against something in my body is the only way I can explain it. I bought an N95 mask to wear at home to protect my family.

I have been eating VERY healthy. It is practically impossible to eat any healthier than I've been eating the past 3-4 weeks (with the exception of a few pizzas I ate - no pork). I've also been lifting weights almost every day. I'm probably in the best condition of my life.

To me, I feel it's a mind-game. I have to convince myself I'm going to defeat this or my body will give up. I'm pretty concerned at this time.

MORE worried about someone's feelings getting hurt than an actual deadly virus!

Good news, although it might be early to say.

I woke up this morning and I could barely get out of bed: extreme fatigue, body aches, headache, coughing, etc. but no fever (strangely).

Last night and this morning I drank some peroxide in water. Ate some fresh fruit and other stuff.

I had my wife get me some Ester-C because I had been reading up on it and wanted to try something new. I took one 1000mg Ester-C and two Ibuprofen. This dramatically reduced my symptoms by about 80-90% compared to earlier today.

I'll try to post an update tomorrow on whether the results continued or were just temporary. But, it was an ENORMOUS turn-around in symptoms.

There are many there that are good people. That is a horrible thing to say CA's officials are corrupt
