Around February 7th. My mother's friend and her husband were on the ship. The husband was diagnosed with sinusitis a week later. He took 10 days of antibiotics, wasn't getting better and diagnosed with bronchitis and put on 10 more days of antibiotics. I haven't heard anything after that so I assume that did the trick.

I feel comforted knowing other GLP crew are going through the same and you're right, the calm before the storm is real. But in this world, we've seen some pretty dire stuff already. Wife works at the hospital here in NorCal where the first covid-19 patient died today.

She came down sick the night before last and has been home sick since. We're hoping it's just the same bug our daughter had last week. But I monitor her condition. We're in our 40's, no health problems etc...hitting very close to home here. Kind of a trip that this is reality after grinding this thread since page 1. Just moves so quick to bam, now I'm in the middle of it, just like that.

I want her to go back and get tested for flu a and b. But I want her rest for now, and definitely to another hospital or clinic for that test. Waiting for advice from staff there, but she had no direct contact, works in another area and all that, big hospital complex.

It is a reality for us though, It just is what it is.
