But it is between 10 to 30 of all cases .... depending on pulling town, county, state or country level.

If you look at the figures on Worldometers it would indicate the 3 million Americans have not recovered from the virus yet. Thats a lot of people!

We don't know for sure, but there seems to be some relations between anomalies in immune response and at least the initial presentation of the disease. It would explain a few factors that we are seeing but it's far from 'definitive' or something we can pre-determine. Just be careful if people in your direct lineage, especially males, have severe reactions. Most of the innate immune system is encoded on the X chromosome of which males only have one.

That said don't expect us to answer a lot of these questions of what is causative/predictive of a certain reaction over the long term. We don't know a whole lot about it even from prior viral outbreaks and there is a likelihood that it's partly due to sheer luck as in if the virus ever get into certain parts of your body etc. It's a bit of a shit show.

Don't trust that number. Not all states report 'recovered' cases and those that do report it on the basis of time passed since diagnosis and not death and/or no longer in hospital. Nobody has gone around to check with people if they consider themselves recovered, it's just accounting.

They have just forgot about them lol, USA handling of data has been worse than any other country, other than Asian countries.

A huge majority of current cases of covid in the UK are under 30 years old, hence large number of positives, lowish number of hospital cases.

FYI, I am currently involved in CV-19 testing, 95% of those being tested are under 30...

I assume it would be the same for most European countries.

If they can show good cause...... and a highly contagious virus might be be good cause.....

Beer, wine, and some gin for my arthritis formula which kinda works. BTW, pack golden raisins in jars and cover with high quality gin such as Bombay Sapphire. Age for three weeks or more. Eat about a teaspoon of raisins three times per day. I sometimes sip the excess gin. Parking lot pickup from Specs, a chain here.

That's something we don't know. I'm sorry she's having a rough time. I'm sure the more data inclined posters might have a better answer than mine, but it seems to be like any other disease in that it will hit others harder than the rest.
