China's Tallest Building Catches Fire, Does Not Collapse
Shanghai's World Financial Center, the tallest building in China upon completion, defied all known physics yesterday afternoon when it caught fire but did not collapse, a modern day miracle in light of the commonly accepted premise that since 9/11, all steel buildings that suffer limited fire damage implode within two hours.

Anyone who has visited Shanghai's Pudong district will note that the World Financial building eerily resembles the twin towers in New York that were destroyed on 9/11, which is why the sight of it catching fire yesterday would have led many to immediately fear the imminent collapse of the structure.

Well, it's true that 'jet fuel' is two words.

But that's about it.

The Empire State building was hit by a B-25 traveling at 200 MPH on 28 July 1945. It didn't fall down either.

The energy from a B-25 @ 200 mph pales in comparison to that of a 757 @ 500 mph. But, you already knew that.

This post was written in a tongue-in-cheek manner. This person knows those tall buildings don't collapse because of fire. Check the link, and read the rest and the following article about the madrid fire.

And you know that this 757 was traveling at 500 mph how, exactly.

Show me your source for this bit of information.

Re: China's Tallest Building Catches Fire, Does Not Collapse
the fires in the wtc were piddly and small, you could tell this because people were waving out of the holes in the buildings that the alleged planes made.

if the fires were to enough to melt steel, people would not be waving for help from these sites, they would instead be melting.

further, the black smoke being emitted at the time of collapse were consistent with low temperature smouldering and not roaring infernos which melt steel. These tend to emit grey or white smoke.

still further, firefighters on site (now deceased) felt that the fire was controllable and could be put out within an hour or two, primarily because most of the jet fuel burned off very quickly after impact.

When you spray jetfuel over and area and ignite it, generally it all burns quickly (as opposed to jet fuel in a large fuel resevoir that may burn bit by bit over a period of many hours). Spray the stuff somewhere and ignite it and I assure you it all burns up within moments.
Please, just f***in' take the special pill

The world trade centers where already having problems, I remember seeing a TV show detailing that the way it was made was creating problems for the structural integrity of the building. So it didnt' take much more for them to fail.

Here's a link to video of a woman waving from the hole created in one of the World Trade Center towers.

She was later identified as Edna Cintron, 46, of New York City.

Evidently, it wasn't all that hot in there, as she still has her clothes on, and wasn't barbecued like a chicken.

And have you considered the possibility that the TV show was part of the cover-up, a psy-op?

It fooled me for some time, back then, as well.
