He flew to most of his out of town games. He was known to frequently fly in helicopters. He had done it for years. So it wasn’t much of a stretch for the writers.

I think it's highly unlikely that something that specific is a coincidence. If anyone really cares about Kobe I would definitely look into whether that helicopter was tampered with. They put this idea out there in the cartoon, and then someone made it happen.

The numbers say otherwise. You are more likely to be killed in an automobile accident than a plane crash. And with a plane crash you are far more likely to have a closed casket funeral.

When was the last time a celeb died by helicopter? I can't think of any. JFK Jr died in a small plane but that was over 20 years ago. It's not like this is COMMON.
