I've been following this thread since the first post in January, I was very worried and I was one of the first to warn my family that a serious pandemic was on the way, that we should take action, they called me paranoid until the moment when we were all forced wearing masks. Throughout the year, we got used to the situation and I thought a second wave was unlikely, not because I understood the subject, but because the numbers of cases remained low for months. Now, we are facing a second wave, and much more aggressive than the first, since in some European countries, the number of cases is more than double the worst days of the first wave. Just when I thought that everything would return to normal, I see that nothing will return to normal. Even though fewer deaths are occurring, the health system cannot handle so many cases, and, mainly, the economy cannot handle it, as it was already severely hit months ago. Anyway, we are on the verge of a global collapse, I think there is a great possibility that we will not reach the end of this year without a major social upheaval involving looting, panic, wars. For anyone who was thinking that the Mad Max world was distant, welcome to the new reality, and the reality is this: We are fucked!
