I think a pneumonia vaccine would be better.

So I have been under the weather for the past few days. I went to the doctors office today because I’ve had a cough for a few days now with wheezing and tightness in my chest. While in the waiting room i noticed that many people were there with the same symptoms as me. At the reception desk the first thing I was asked was have I been out of the country in the past 30 days, and have I been in contact with anyone who has been out of the country.

I was diagnosed with bronchitis and put on an albutural inhaler, a pill form of cough medicine and azythromician for an antibiotic. I decided to ask my doctor about his thoughts in the corona virus and what he expects to happen in the USA. I was told that he has been seeing a lot of pneumonia, bronchitis and severe coughs. He expects the corona virus to spread here but doesn’t expect it to be as severe as it is in China.

I have not heard of any other cases but have seen an uptick again in EAS testing at odd times of the day. Also have seen some “government vehicles” in my travels which I don’t normally see.

Feeling much better since I was put on the antibiotics for the bronchitis.

So we had another smaller meeting today regarding CV. They are concerned now, whereas before everyone blew off this as all hype. We were made privy to information that we weren’t before as to how this will be handled. I would stock up on food and water for at least a month or two just in case, and make sure you have extra medication on hand if you are on prescriptions.

Thanks for the info. I assume that is all you are comfortable saying and we appreciate it. This aligns what I figured would be the case.

I’m still trying to figure out if it will be city, county or state level. I guess it could be concentric rings.

OP, I found this and was going to pass to you, which is how I found you updated. This means either it is Covid in hiding or if legitimately the flu then the health services are already stretch thin.

The flu has hit Massachusetts and the Northeast really hard this year. I myself am just getting over bronchitis. I still find it odd that it is being entrenched in us to get the flu shot if we haven’t yet. I would also expect more covid numbers to jump in the northeast as Massachusetts has been authorized to lab test for corona virus.

AC, I think they’ll quarantine by cluster outbreak city then county then state. Small to large. Looks like west coast first.

Funny thing is most people around here are still thinking this is a joke. Humans are strange sometimes. No instincts any longer.

RD play it safe. And try to shower right after shift. Pretend you have poop all over you and scrub. Virus is sticky. Bag your clothes up.

First presumptive positive case of coronavirus identified in Massachusetts.

The woman is in her 20s and lives in Norfolk County. She recently traveled to Italy with a school group and was symptomatic. She is recovering at home.The individual’s test results came back positive just this evening.

I heard that there were a lot of school groups that just recently returned to Massachusetts from Italy.

New Hampshire has its first case of Corona Virus. A male that recently traveled to Italy tested positive Monday for the Corona Virus.

“The man is a resident of Grafton County and is currently isolated at home with mild symptoms. Health officials said the patient works at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital.“

New Hampshire's first coronavirus patient, a hospital employee, went to an event on Friday despite being told to stay isolated, officials say, and all others who went to the event are now being told to stay isolated.

The announcement on Tuesday came as state health officials said a second person in the state is presumed to have the new coronavirus, COVID-19. That person was in close contact with the first patient.

There is a high probability that the stafford act will be enacted by declaration of national emergency in the next few days . If you are not familiar with what it entails I highly suggest you look it up ,

The Stafford Act is a 1988 amended version of the Disaster Relief Act of 1974. It created the system in place today by which a presidential disaster declaration or an emergency declaration triggers financial and physical assistance through the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

So I can say the following, “Expect an Infectious disease emergency declaration by the President soon, which would put FEMA in charge.”
