How has technology diminished your quality of life?

Let's see... when I was a kid, we didn't have to pay for TV. Fewer channels, but MUCH better quality entertainment. Now we pay monthly for BS TV snd STILL have to endure crap commnercials.

That's actually a good question.

Don't even get me started on commercials! I pay for the TV service already, why do I have to look at ads for drugs for people who like licking poop off buttholes but don't want to get the AIDS? And why are all these commercials for expensive cars, jewelry, crappy fast food all made to appeal to hip-hop ghetto superstars?

Sorry if I sound hateful, the pain and discomfort from not having a phone book under my feet gets to me sometimes.

I guess bus drivers have it pretty rough too.

I assume I could still rent a limo, but I don't have any upcoming occasions and I don't hang out with party people much these days.

I dunno, getting stupid answers to stupid questions is really fast, especially if you have a good wifi connection.

The technology is only a tool that can be used for both good or bad. People are the ones who have allowed it to control their lives and become shaped by the dependency on technology.

And yes, using it to ask stupid, irrelevant, unbeneficial, questions that literally serve -zero- purpose whilst arguing about the questions that actually do rather than looking it up.

Collective knowledge of the entire human race and it's greatest minds all in one accessible location yet the general population is dumber now than ever before. Irony.

Another aspect of this is that the information you look up may not be accurate or truthful. Or the information you seek is buried under mountains of crap.

Dumb phones and social media have made lookism worse then ever in society. Its harder for the average Joe to function successfully or happily. But if you don't subscribe to social media, your automatically deemed a failure.

I wouldnt be surprised if in the future it becomes illegal to not have social media. Already right now its like a lite black listing.
