Why the hell is Erdogan not hauled up on charges for invading the sovereign nation of Syria? Why is Turkey given the freedom to decide if & when they get to invade & attack a city within the sovereign nation of Syria?

I saw thread on this the other day unconfirmed and I honestly didn't think it was likely. Turks looking to get their asses handed to them with no air support and Russians new found willingness to strike them.

Pretty crazy escalation. Apparently Turks fired a few manpads at Russian fighters too but Russians were operating about 5k feet and manpads ineffective at those heights. And Russians bombed those launches afterwards.

At 5000 feet the Russian ones, even the old ones, are a borderline credible threat against a jet, even the SU-24 they shot at. it is a longshot but it is possible. Not sure about an american stinger like they used.

Of course Russians don't have a track record of handing out MANPADS to radical jihadists that would shoot down a passenger airplane with as little thought as they would give to chopping someone's head off like america does.

The turks are Literally trying to recycle the same strategy used in their first conquests. Same areas, it's very predictable and based on osmans fake dream. They're still trying to fulfill it and spread what he called Social Justice into the land of the setting sun (aka europe) which is their end game.
