Most pet food products contain Chinese ingredients.

Get pet food manufactured in Canada and New Zealand.

Their laws regulating the pet food production industry are BETTER than in the US, and certainly better than that steamy dump of China.

It's time to put an effort into boycotting anything made in China. All this delegation to them should never have happened in the first place.

And MOST American homes contain a pet thanks to the big rescue pet push which I'm thankful I didn't fall for.
Scooping poop and being licked by an infected corona pet... Might be something to that whole dog beating video that I'm also thankful I didn't watch or read the thread of.

Yea we have been stalking up, the cat food we get is made in Thailand but you never know....

That would explain the alarming rate of cancer in pets.

Royal Canin is the Gucci of pet food and my pets love it.

Some, like Ziwipeak which is from NZ, are outstanding but way too expensive for our budget.

And I love Origin and Acana from Canada but it is a different formula in the US and not as palatable to pets. Not sure why.

That article is from 13 years ago but it's still a good idea to monitor the ingredients in your pet's food. It can be nearly impossible to know where those ingredients originate, as the producers are not obligated to reveal that particular information.

Not a compete list but I can say without hesitation that Mars Petcare products contain Chinese ingredients. I've seen the Chinese shipping containers at some of their production facilities.

Unfortunately, I just discovered Royal Canin is produced by Mars, so I'm going to be changing brands in the near future if I can locate a reliable source. If not, I may begin feeding a raw diet.

At this point a raw diet might be the only safe bet.

I have been trying to think of how to prep for pets. I have 4 large dogs. They do eat kibble, yet also about 1/4 of diet is basically on meat/veggies.

I would need at least 40 large bags to even get started for long term prepping...can't afford that at one time, also, would the food even keep during the summer months.

Anyone with multiple pets thought this through?

We cook our dogs chicken and brown rice with green beans....
